Our mission is to unite schools, teachers, and students with meaningful engagement experiences across eastern North Carolina’s regionally defined career clusters: Aviation, Biopharma, Blue Economy, Energy Systems, Health Sciences, Smart Agriculture, Smart Manufacturing, and Legal Systems. These industries power our regional economy, drive innovation, and create pathways to livable wage careers. Through partnerships with employers, community colleges, and educators, STEM East helps students explore real-world possibilities, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration to thrive in the careers that will shape the future of eastern North Carolina.
